Fans of My 600-Lb. Life have fallen in love with Dr. Younan Nowzaradan, also known as Dr. Now. The good doctor is known for his direct way of dealing with patients who are preparing for weight loss surgery. Throughout the last 13 seasons of the TLC show, he’s made quite the name for himself. So, what is Dr. Now’s net worth? And what is the main source of his money? Here’s what you need to know.

Dr. Now’s Career

Younan Nowzaradan was born on October 11, 1944, in Iran. He is of Assyrian heritage and spent much of his life, prior to earning his degree, in the Middle Eastern country. After graduating from the University of Tehran (Iran) with a Doctor of Medicine degree, he moved to the United States to practice medicine. In 1971, he participated in the Medical Orientation Program at Saint Louis University then went on to complete a Rotating Surgical Internship at St. John Hospital in Detroit.

Since then, he’s been hard at work trying to improve people’s lives with surgery as part of the American College of Surgeons. At this point in time, he is affiliated with Houston Obesity Surgery in Texas. Dr. Now is practicing at several different hospitals in the Houston area. In addition to his work in the operating room, he is the author of several scholarly publications on obesity and laparoscopy.

Of course, most people know Dr. Now from his appearances on TLC’s My 600-Lb. Life. He is frequently shown on the show discussing patients’ health plans. They are given the challenge of losing weight before they are able to undergo bariatric surgery. Outside of his appearances on this show, he has also been on the program Body Shock several times. Dr. Now has also published two books: Last Chance to Live (2017) and The Scale Does Not Lie, People Do (2019).

Personal Life

At one time, Dr. Now was married. He got hitched to Delores McRedmond and the couple was married for 31 years before they decided to divorce in 2004. They share three children. His son, Jonathan Nowzaradan, is a director and producer for My 600-Lb. Life.

What is Dr. Now’s Net Worth?

It is estimated that Dr. Now’s net worth sits around $6 million. This isn’t all that surprising when you consider his profession. The average net worth of most doctors in the United States is about $1 million, with 60% of physicians reporting wealth above that number. That said, his weight loss practice isn’t the only way the doc has been making his money over the years.

As you know, he has also appeared on TLC’s My 600-Lb. Life. On the show, he is a consultant for the morbidly obese individuals who are looking to lose weight and turn their lives around. In some cases, he is able to help the patient improve their health. Others seem dead-set on continuing to eat poorly and he chastises them. Most cast members get paid $1,500 per episode on this particular show, but there isn’t any pay transparency about what Dr. Now makes. It can be assumed he probably makes more than the patients who appear on the program.

Beyond that, Dr. Now has created a Cameo account. Like many other TLC stars, he creates personalized videos for fans. One personal video from the doctor will run you $175+, according to his Cameo page.

Oh, and the doctor has merch! He sells shirts, mugs, and other items with some of his most infamous sayings on them like, “You could have easily lost 30 pounds this month.” He also appears for meet-and-greet events on occasion and has popped up on other networks, including Lifetime.

That said, the bulk of his $6 million wealth stems directly from his work as a doctor, not the show or anything else.

Little People Big World fans fell in love with the Roloff family and their way of life over the years. Amy and Matt Roloff’s first child, Zach, has been someone that fans have been especially interested in. He made the decision to step away from the TLC show several years ago and now many people are wondering, what is Zach Roloff’s net worth? How is he earning money today? Here’s what you need to know.

About Zach Roloff

Zach Roloff was born on May 10, 1990 in Oregon. His parents, Amy and Matthew Roloff, went on to have three other children: Jeremy, Molly, and Jacob. As viewers already know, both Matt and Amy have two different types of dwarfism. Matt has what is called Diastophic Dysplasia and Amy has Achondroplasia. Of the Roloff children, Zach is the only one who wound up with dwarfism. He was diagnosed with the same type as his mother, Achondroplasia.

Throughout Little People Big World, viewers saw Zach grow up. Eventually, he went on to marry his wife, Tori. The couple ventured out to start their own business, and they started a family of their own. They have three children: Jackson, Lilah, and Josiah. Despite marrying someone who is “normal sized,” all of Zach’s children have dwarfism.

Eventually, they decided that being on the TLC show wasn’t for them. They didn’t want to continue being in the spotlight in that way. Additionally, there were some disagreements among the family members that led to their decision to depart from the program.

Since then, fans have been able to keep up with them on social media via his wife’s frequent updates. But what is he doing now and what is Zach Roloff’s net worth?

What is Zach Roloff’s Net Worth?

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Zach Roloff’s net worth is estimated to be around $700,000. Much of his wealth stemmed directly from his appearances on Little People Big World. He reportedly made about $7,000 per episode (plus whatever his wife and kids made for their appearances as well).

Outside of this, he was also able to earn money as a tour guide of Roloff Farms. At its peak popularity, tickets to tour the farm were $350. However, following his falling out with his dad, he’s no longer working there.

His wife, Tori, also contributes financially. She works as a photographer and also does work on social media as an influencer. On top of that, the couple launched their podcast “Raising Heights” in February 2024. During the first episode, they addressed whether or not they were returning to the TLC show. The answer, of course, was no. They both felt like it was time for their family to move on, considering how the dynamics of the show and things between their families changed so much.

That said, with more than two million followers on Instagram, Tori Roloff is bringing in some money as an influencer. The couple is also increasing their presence on YouTube with their podcast. At the time of writing, they have 122,000+ subscribers. While his earnings have stayed stagnant for a few years, it looks like things could be trending upward for Zach Roloff in the years to come.

Is Kate Gosselin Still Profiting from Her Fame? A Deep Dive into Her Net Worth

Is Kate Gosselin Still Profiting from Her Fame? A Deep Dive into Her Net Worth

Kate Gosselin's net worth

Kate Gosselin has recently made the news for renewing her nursing license in North Carolina and starting a more humble life after her television stardom. The reality star was once popular for her TLC show Jon & Kate Plus 8 that followed Kate, her husband Jon, and their eight children. However, the show eventually crumbled amid her divorce, nasty abuse rumors, and other issues with the family. Since then, she’s laid low for the most part. So, what is Kate Gosselin’s net worth today and how is she making money?

Who is Kate Gosselin?

Katie Irene Kreider was born on March 28, 1975, in Pennsylvania to Charlene and Kenton Kreider. Her father was a pastor and she was one of five children. Kate has three sisters and one brother. Following high school, she completed nursing school at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center. Afterward, she kickstarted her career as a labor and delivery nurse in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania.

In October 1997, she met Jon Gosselin and the pair tied the knot on June 12, 1999. The couple immediately started to try and have a baby. Due to polycystic ovary syndrome, Kate had to undergo fertility treatment. On October 8, 2000, she successfully gave birth to twin girls, Cara and Mady. Kate continued fertility treatments to get pregnant again. Then, on May 10, 2004, she gave birth to sextuplets (that’s six kids at once). Sons Aaden Jonathan, Collin Thomas, and Joel Kevin; and daughters Alexis Faith, Hannah Joy, and Leah Hope were 10 weeks early. They had to be placed on ventilators for some time after they were born.

Breaking Into Reality TV

Kate and Jon Gosselin first appeared on reality television after the birth of their sextuplets. They were on NBC’s Home Delivery, which followed the renovations they were making to their Pennsylvania home to accommodate their much larger family. Then, the family was seen on Discovery Health’s Surviving Sextuplets and Twins in 2005, which included a follow-up episode one year later.

Discovery Health decided to pick the family up for an ongoing series called Jon & Kate Plus 8. It aired on Discovery Health for two seasons before moving to TLC where it ran for five seasons. Then, in 2009, TLC announced that the show’s name would be changed to just Kate Plus 8. Jon and Kate were getting divorced and the show would now just follow Kate’s journey as a single mom of eight children. The program went on for another six seasons.

Following the success of her reality shows, many doors opened for Kate. She appeared on Season 10 of Dancing With The Stars and made it to week 5. The reality star was also announced to be a returning co-host on The View, though that didn’t last long. In 2013, her family appeared on an episode of Celebrity Wife Swap where she swapped places with Kendra Wilkinson.

Eventually, TLC announced a reunion special of Kate Plus 8 and, in 2015, it was announced that the show would be returning to the network. However, its return was short-lived and was canceled again after a season (plus three episodes of a second season).

Kate attempted a spin-off called Kate Plus Date that followed her dating life after divorce. It was kind of a flop. She also appeared on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, but she was eliminated during the first episode due to an injury.

What has all this screen time done for Kate Gosselin’s net worth? And how is she making money today?

Kate Gosselin’s Net Worth

At the time of writing this, Kate Gosselin’s net worth is estimated to be about $500,000. It was reported that she earned around $250,000 per episode of the TLC show. Considering how many seasons it aired, you might be surprised to hear that she isn’t worth more money. It’s important to remember that she’s been taking care of several children. Collin and Hannah chose to live with Jon following the divorce, but the rest of the children resided with Kate, placing much of the financial burden on her.

The TLC show wasn’t the only thing earning her money though. As mentioned above, she appeared on Dancing With The Stars. She made around $160,000 for her time on the competition show. Additionally, she made a few thousand dollars every time she appeared on The View. Not to mention, her TLC spin-offs.

During the peak of her popularity, Kate also published three books. The first, Multiple Blessings, was published in November 2008 and it sold around half a million copies in the first year. Her second book, Eight Little Faces, was released in April 2009, and her third, I Just Want You To Know, was released on April 13, 2010. Each one appeared on the New York Times Bestsellers List.

Unlike many other reality stars, Kate doesn’t use her social media to earn any extra money. In fact, she doesn’t post online all that often. Die-hard fans look forward to the occasional updates about the kids.

Now, she has gotten her nursing license reinstated in North Carolina (moved over from PA). Apparently, she’s working as a nurse in the Southern state. It’s not clear if she returned to L&D nursing or not. The average salary for a nurse in NC is $72,220 per year, or $34.72 per hour, but she could be making more (or less), depending on her location and specialty. She reportedly lives in a $750,000 lakefront home in NC though, so she’s doing well for herself.

As the latest season of Sister Wives aired, viewers have gotten a look into the Brown family finances. It was interesting to see how everything was separated. Now, Kody Brown, who once had four wives, is down to just one. He and Robyn Brown are continuing to live as husband and wife without any other women in the picture. However, some fans have been wondering what Robyn and Kody Brown’s net worth is after the separations. Here is everything we know.

How Kody Brown Gained Fame

Kody Brown was born on January 17, 1969, in Lovell, Wyoming. He was raised in a Mormon home with his parents, Genielle and William Brown. Later in life, his dad wound up adopting a polygamist lifestyle and had three wives of his own.

Kody rose to fame when TLC approached him about doing a show. The network had interest in Kody and his family because they were polygamists. It made its debut on the small screen in 2010. At the time, he was married to three women: Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, and Christine Brown.

The show followed the family’s unconventional way of living. Eventually, Kody began to seek out a fourth wife and the show documented the courting and then wedding between Kody and Robyn.

In addition to his four wives, Kody fathered 18 children. The family is massive and they were all living in harmony, for a while anyway. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the family started to fall apart. Some of Kody’s children butted heads with him about his new COVID rules for the house and then his wives slowly started getting tired of his crap too.

One by one, they left Kody and took their children. Christine Brown left first. Then Janelle. Then Meri. Now, he and Robyn are the only two left. But what is Robyn and Kody Brown’s net worth today?

What is Robyn and Kody Brown’s Net Worth?

Meri legally divorced Kody so that he could marry Robyn and adopt her children from her previous marriage. So, the couple is legally married, which combines some of their finances, including their overall net worth. When it comes to Robyn and Kody Brown’s net worth, there are several estimates online. Many people state that Kody is worth $800,000 and Robyn is worth $600,000. Combined, that would mean that they are worth $1.4 million.

Both of them have made a majority of their money on Sister Wives. The main cast members are paid $40,000 per episode. So far, there have been 73 episodes of the TLC show and more are going to be released soon. Outside of that, Kody keeps a relatively low profile. He doesn’t share much, if anything, on social media. So, there aren’t a ton of opportunities for him to make money there.

Like many other reality TV stars, he is also active on Cameo. He charges fans for personalized videos. According to his page, he charges $149+ for a message. He gets requests to wish people a happy birthday and other similar clips.

It’s looking like Sister Wives is coming to an end. Season 19 has been the longest one yet and the family seems to be all going in different directions. So, it’s not clear what the future of Robyn and Kody Brown’s net worth will be.
